Following up on last week’s post, I wanted to add some shots from St. Pat’s Cathedral and also show the two shows we saw: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and Waitress. We really enjoyed both of them!
I’ve added a picture of the cute little apple pies they were selling at intermission at Waitress!
One morning my husband had to make a business call, so I went out and about and ended up in the Today Show crowd on tv! Now I wish I had a picture of that!! 🙂
Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Melinda at westmetromommyreads.com. See her site for full participation details!
What a fun adventure! Unexpected moments. Thanks for sharing. Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
I always love your posts – and seeing your family pics, too!
I love your photos of the stained glass windows. Stunning. Looks like you had a great time in NYC.
We love NYC and feel blessed to live only 150 miles away!!
Looks like a great visit. I had no idea that Curious Incident had been turned into a play- I love the book and would certainly be interested in the play, I hope someone does it here in Australia.
I absolutely loved that book and the play was very close to the book; however, it was brilliantly staged and interpreted for the stage: the set, the lighting, the ensemble cast — truly amazing. It won the Tony for best play in either 2014 or 2015, too. It is leaving Broadway at the end of the summer, so I am assuming rights will be available for travelling companies. It would be a great show for a small theater to perform as well.
How fun! It sounds like you had a great trip!
