You’ve probably heard by now of the blizzard earlier this week. We got a lot of snow – 36 inches! Here are a few pictures. Just for reference – the one of my husband shoveling our walk – he is 6’2!

Looks like too much shoveling for my liking. One foot of snow seemed to take forever last year for me. I could only imagine how long it would take to shovel 3 feet of the stuff. It is very pretty though.

I do not envy you the “digging out”. We have a step-granddaughter that live north of Boston and so saw her pictures of the snow in their area. Lots and lots piled up against the doors and windows. Here in our part of the country, we usually get so much wind with the snow. Luckily we haven’t had a blizzard of any proportions yet, but we can sometimes get lots of snow in April. Hope you are almost back to normal and did not suffer too much damage.
Fortunately we did not lose power. It is some melted, but we are due another foot tomorrow!
Again, I am glad I don’t live in a snowy area! As much as I hate our long hot summers, I think it’s a good trade-off…LOL. Snow does look pretty, though, except when you are shoveling it. Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.

Holy smokes! Here in Minnesota I can see our dead lawn. We have no snow whatsoever it is so weird… although, I do not want what you have there 😉
Wow! That’s unbelievable — especially the shot of snow against your glass door. The only time I’ve seen that much snow was on a ski trip to Mount Hood, Oregon. I hope that’s the last storm you’ll see this winter.

Oh wow, that is a lot of snow. I lived with snow on the ground in Canada, but never that much. I can’t imagine shovelling all that. Great picture of the kids out in it.
