Happy Spring! This is our front door. Happily you can see there is no snow on it, or near it, or leading up to it – and my (faux) forsythia wreath looks quite cheerful! In New England we have about three weeks of spring and then – bam! – time for humidity and summer. 🙂
Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at http://www.athomewithbooks.net You can participate by posting an appropriate-for-all picture you or a friend/family member took, then linking it to Alyce’s site.

Yes, but your summers are as delightful as our springs, I think. Enjoy!
Here’s my Saturday Snapshot.
I love summer – just not humidity!
Isn’t it nice to have spring..it’s a bit dreary here in the Northeast but I am ready for green grass and sunshine!! Your front door entrance is lovely with the blue of your home and the forsythia wreath.
Thank you – I am ready for all the trees to burst out, too. Our real forsythia will bloom in about 2-3 weeks. Can’t wait!
Lovely door…Here’s to a Spring that doesn’t go abruptly right to summer!

Thank you!
It does look just like spring with the pretty wreath and the sun shining on it — beautiful!
Here is my SATURDAY SNAPSHOT post!
thanks!
Happy Spring to you! this looks much lovelier than the spring blizzard we were having just last week, or the grey, blowy day today!
Lucky you, spring at your front door.
You have a lovely door, and I really like the colour of the house too. I’m glad your weather is on the improve.
Thanks – we picked from the Ben Moore historical collection, if I remember correctly. We have a colonial in New England and wanted to look accurate! 🙂
Lovely. How long has the snow been gone? We’ve had a lovely Spring in the Pacific NW, but we keep hearing about snow in the midwest and East.
We still have snow in spots!
Hurray for sunny Spring days and steps with no snow or ice!
Pretty door – so ready for warm weather here in New England. It’s been a long winter.
I personally was rather fond of last winter when it was 70 in March and we had no snow -but I’m a California girl at heart…
Let’s hope we get more than three weeks of spring weather…it only it would come. 🙂
